Hello Experts,

Do we have any plan to create DR ( disaster site) for ORACLE 10G standard version. Since, Data Guard is not available with Standard version, can we have any another plan for the same.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Jay vardhan

You can use classic standby database as we did it before DataGuard existed.
Many scripts are available on the web.

I am still waiting for your feedback in your previous question at http://www.orafaq.com/forum/m/486797/102589/#msg_486797.
Did it help you?

And on the previous one (http://www.orafaq.com/forum/m/486165/102589/#msg_486165) where you said:

I'm working on that and update you as completed successfully.

And so on...

Regards
Michel

Hello Michel,

I have found link https://support.oracle.com/CSP/main/article?cmd=show&type=NOT&doctype=BULLETIN&id=305360.1 that is good enough and explained.

We have decided to go with the manual copy of archive logs and recovery.

Thanks for your support.
